Taking a slightly different direction than our first fan project, we’ve decided to really dive in there and ask you guys to send us in photos of yourselves with a sign that notes the petition you’ve signed and your number on that petition. Each one will be posted on CP.com and be aware that this a (friendly!) petition vs. petition contest - the country with the most fan entries wins! Send yours in now!

Congratulations to Eleanor who has won our first Fan Petition Project by sending us this status update - making all of the RGN staff laugh out loud!!

Also, a huge “Thank You!” to everyone who sent in their status pictures for this project - we got some really fantastic entries and it’s a brilliant way to get the word out there!

Tomorrow, for one day only, we are asking fans everywhere to put a link from their Facebook, Bebo, MySpace, Twitter (or other) status to either 1) this website’s Cherrybomb Petitions’s page or 2) the petition closest to them.

That’s all you have to do: just stick it in your status for a day. Easy, huh?

We will be supporting each and every one of you who does this, so take a screencap of your status and send it in to us! The funniest and most inventive will be featured on here AND RGN and win….our adoration! How generous are we?!

With all of the promoting, signing, campaigning and talk that’s currently going on about the petitions, RGN has created a new source for fans with http://www.cherrybombpetition.com. For those of you who don’t have Facebook, or would like to come and get some support graphics or even if you simply just want to know how the petition nearest to you is doing, we’re here!
